Though later some saxophonist friends and I did something similar at Band Camp and did paint ourselves. No shirts. For a talent night.
We used hockey sticks as spears, and took off our shirts. And shouted on certain beats. Didn’t paint ourselves, though…
One the way home, I remembered Dad teaching us what he claimed was a Zulu War Dance. This was in the cub scouts, in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Now in coffeeshop, did some writing. Working through a book. Relaxing a bit. Next 2 days are off.
Been constant with the workouts. Today — cycling 10.5 km, and doing weights — lower body, ab workout. Tomorrow, hike, upper bod, abs.
‘nother day, ‘nother 2hr. workout. Liking this all balanced and have a lot more energy now. 4 hours a day was too much!
