  • Trying to figure out new flight schedule, without Utah. Hmmm. San Francisco, Denver, Portland, Seattle… where else would you go?

  • Up. Toe still snafu, so no hiking. Maybe Gym by Friday night, though?

  • @roboseyo Yeah, don’t tell me any more details. Some things I don’t want to know. Or envy.

  • @Suho1004 Actually, NOT working overtime will get you healthier sooner. But I know what you mean. 🙂

  • now home, having crackers w/ a little cheese and thinking about what to cook.

  • @roboseyo at this hour, all I can hope is you;’re not going alone…

  • Feels momentarily odd as many of the Twitter feeds he’s following have goodnight messages and it’s not even dinner time. Expat life.

  • Would love to get them to the point where they are fighting to do what they think is best, but even asking is probably a big leap for them.

  • Just convinced anxious students to accept my, “Do whatever you think is best,” advice on switching parts in the film we’re making for class

  • @czilka @StephanieDBrown 🙂

  • @czilka @StephanieDBrown Something inside my just threw up half-digested gummi bears all over. Thanks, you two!

  • Note to self: never ask students, “Who wants to make the schedule?” if you want the job assigned in less than 10 minutes of prattle.

  • @charlesatan Yeah, probably the wisest move. Now I think I understand how someone (non-famous) can have 1000 followers…

  • @KimcheeGI LOL Good grief!

  • Why did I write BTW in the last tweet? Brain still stuck in email mode.

  • BTW effed up my big toe hiking yesterday — no more hikes this week. Bleah. But will still try go to the gym.

  • Do you actually *block* people who are following you and whose feeds are wholly commercial?

  • @Suho1004 get that wax in your ears and have the men tie you to the mast, then, Odie.

  • @Suho1004 being swamped IS good! Ride the good feeling, I say!

  • RT @tobiasbuckell Amazon fail: http://bit.ly/10FBPO #amazonfail as a hetero male author I will go on record as saying ‘very uncool.’

  • @Suho1004 Hee. come back to the dark side. If only fora few minutes of your day…

  • Second time that’s happened, ever… but the weird thing was the breaker box door handle was released… maybe someone was trying to sleep?

  • Argh! The circuit shorted out downstairs while I was doing laundry and drying clothes last night. Had to switch it back to finish…

  • er, “finished” — anyway, 1am now so off to bed…

  • Finishe a major spring cleaning today, tomorrow off to write in a coffeeshop after hike and gym… time to get OUT of this apartment…

  • @charlesatan so I can bear the pains…

  • @charlesatan Heh, I dunno, the aches are okay, considering I’m still losing weight… like, a kilo in the past week…

  • @charlesatan yeah, actually, I have a good solid routine with the weights… but the hiking does my legs in… I’m starting to feel it now!

  • right, home from 4 hours of workout… 2 hours hiking, 2 hours gym (cycling/weights). Not so tired. Adjusted?Maybe should be pushing harder?

  • Finished hike, now in gym… Hungry and tired but second wind coming…

  • @tobiasbuckell congratulations!!!

  • @tobiasbuckell Now I see your news! I hope it all goes smoothly!

  • @JamesTurnbull no shame on that… I missed the gym totally thurs/fri but back in the saddle today: 3.5 hrs so far, bit more to go…

  • @tobiasbuckell true… I seem to like complicating things unnecessarily…

  • Oh lord. how shall I sleep with this giant spider and his lawyer prowling the halls of the International House? Someone loan me a blowtorch.

  • Ethel was very scary. She escaped heavy duty restraints, and busted through a steel door. She was 98 years old. But wiry. And loud.

  • A few weeks back, I dreamed I was an elderly Brooklynite named Howard whose wife Ethel (was it?) had gone senile & escaped the holding room.

  • @tobiasbuckell Or, pretend everyone’s just being overly-sarcastic and really mocking the opinions expressed? If you can suspend disbelief…

  • Finally caught up on editing until Monday. Now just a billion other things to do. First: sleep. At least it’s a long weekend…

  • @MaryRobinette Thanks for twittering that! I hadn’t run upon it yet…

  • @charlesatan will do… and I must check out that sampler you have linked up…

  • @charlesatan Thanks for the reminder — just RTed the essay…

  • RT my essay @Shineanthology “Optimism in Lit. around the World, and SF in particular, pt 3: SF in South Korea today” : http://is.gd/rGdM

  • @JeremiahTolbert teaching English abroad is better/easier than manual labour! Worked for me… But don’t give up just yet

  • @charlesatan thanks… In time were hoping to connect w/ other global SF groups/scholars…

  • @JeremiahTolbert can’t remember if I replied but thanks & definitely looking forward to meeting you too!

  • home again home again jiggity jig…
No exercise today save the video game of the subway platforms. Great Korean SF Project meeting tho.

  • @deepeight Funny. All morning I’ve been thinking I should tell my class: “It carefully proofreads its essays, or it gets the hose again.”

  • that *is* a contest entry, folks. I’m not suggesting YOU do it. http://tinyurl.com/cyqvhz

  • @subpress oops, that last should have been reply to the contest post. 🙂
