@GlobalTom @UrsulaV No kidding. When USians send me checks in Korea, I have to mail them to my bank in Canada. Bank tellers here stare and say, “What’s this?” and consult a policy book for 30 min before telling me, “Okay, but it’ll cost you [the equivalent of] $50 and up to a month to cash it.”
