@fosterempathy Yeah, I don’t feel I can do much now but draw a line in my classes (and hold the line despite a LOT of edgelords pushing it), cheer on my wife’s efforts at consciousness-raising, and help educate my son to respect girls and women as his equals. *shrug* @fosterempathy For “outsiders,” there’ll always be someone telling you you don’t know, don’t understand, have no idea, and should shut up/go home.
I’ve gotten this from people who were born after I arrived here, so… we can’t really help, not in our lifetimes: nobody cares what we think/say.
