@Freeirony @iampaulkerry Sadly you’re probably mostly right… except that I don’t think it’s as sustainable as the people calling the shots think it is. (Long COVID estimates vary wildly, but it’s going to add up over time. And strain our medical systems in utterly crazy ways. It already is.) @Freeirony @iampaulkerry But really it’s just, for me, that hearing people say “endemic” means a bunch of things (like milder, fewer cases, under control) that it doesn’t necessarily mean at all (and is unlikely to mean with this particular virus) is driving me round the bend.
