(It’s very telling how those people trot out the same rhetoric that was used to justify control and regulation of women and racial minorities in the past: “hormones… no self-control… ignorant… simple-minded… need control…”) Anyway, this moronic uproar about TURNING RED is at the intersection of bigotry toward the young + bigotry toward girls and women. Both elements seem to be in play. But, eh, “Someone is being a bigoted moron on the internet!” is a perennial observation, I suppose.
