@mcjulie About angry *moms* specifically, I imagine partly it’s talking about their real frustrations isn’t socially acceptable: you must “handle” much of the extra parenting while working from home, & never tire of spending all day with your kid daily. You *must* “succeed” parentally. @mcjulie The pressure to “handle it” & the social unacceptability of calling out your unsupportive spouse, family, government, etc, but also the unacceptability of being “burned out” and not some font of maternal energy… the label “bad mother” or “failure” looms.
