@N_S_Dolkart @JustinHowe I think the dates on bullion cubes with artificial flavors, at least, are there because the cubes just lose potency over time?

And yeah, I’ve never heard of anyone throwing out salt (or sugar, or vinegar) because of a sell-by/expiry date.
