Why do Korean institutions so often make public announcements with screenshots of text instead of posting user-accessible text? Often the text isn’t ornamented or stylized or anything, it’s just a screenshot of text in some normal word processor font. Seriously, why do this? I assume nobody realizes (or cares) that this makes the announcement less accessible to a whole lot of people: blind/visually impaired people, people who need to put it through an autotranslator, even people reading it on a smaller screen & need the text to reflow. Why do this?
