@fosterempathy @Freeirony My friends were mostly in the same boat as me, at least till high school—social cliques didn’t mix in that town—but occasionally I ended up friendly with kids who were seasoned in dealing with hangovers and pregnancy scares by the 8th grade. My mind was blown by that.
