I wonder what percentage of RPG Twitter is really just beardy old guys grogsplaining that there is ONLY One True Way to play D&D, and everyone else rolling their eyes? If we could filter that, what would even be left? https://t.co/khjKJKyqKy (Like, yeah, heavy backstory isn’t how I tend to roll with trad FRPGs—I might even say, “Don’t get too attached to your character!”—and as a GM I’d want bullet points rather than extended backstory fiction, but… to each group their own, ffs.)
