@mcjulie In 2020, I saw many childless people using “think of the kids” nonsense (“masks ruin social skills, poor kids!” etc.) to justify COVID-skeptic nonsense. It was very clueless and transparent, and they ignored how kids were mostly fine with masks, etc. @mcjulie *Actual* parents were more tired, worried, and sympathetic about their kids’ social deprivation and fears and stress back then.
But burnout has set in, and so that’s changed somewhat in the last few months especially, I’ve noticed.
