Then we get to watch a mass trip down the rhetorical waterslide from “We’ll all catch it, it’s inevitable, it’s just a cold,” to “euthanasia for Long COVID is a mercy” to “longhaulers are useless eaters.” Oh, and… life is also carrying on here in Korea too. Most have the sense to prefer caution and inconvenience to just shrugging and letting countless folks die/suffer as yet poorly understood sequelae.

So, like: life carries on here too… with far less death & sickness.
